Sarah and Will tied the knot in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis on a perfect sunny Saturday afternoon! The sweltering heat didn’t stop us from capturing an incredible series of moments during their first look together. From the moment I first met Sarah and Will in person at their engagement session in Patapsco State Park, I could tell their love for each other is full of joy, a gentle touch and a level of compassion and trust in each other that is so heartwarming and comforting to see.
Their families live in the Baltimore-Annapolis area, Europe and many places in between. The groom’s sister made their amazing wedding “cake” once she arrived in the states; the piece montee, a traditional French dessert, was so unique and delicious! Every detail was carefully planned and executed from Sarah’s great-grandmother’s pearl pin attached to her bouquet to the hand-painted world map guest sign-in art.
The group shot of everyone right after the ceremony was a great idea Sarah had mentioned to me. Now they’ll always have a photo with every single person in attendance – something not many weddings end up having. My absolute favorite shots occurred thanks to Sarah and Will making it a priority to sneak away for some private moments of just the two of them in the park right after being pronounced husband and wife!
We were absolutely honored to capture this special time in Sarah and Will’s lives! Congratulations newlyweds!
I owe a huge thanks to the talented team that contributed to making their day the incredible event that it was!
