On a beautiful, bright and warm late-summer day, Jasmine & Shahkem got married in an outdoor ceremony at Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore, MD. Jas got dressed with her mom and sisters at Hotel Revival in Mt. Vernon, in a modern ball gown and cathedral veil. The energy felt throughout the day was so relaxed, calm and full of excitement…
Traveling to Rawlings Conservatory in a vintage Rolls Royce with her parents, added an elegant and classic flair to their day. Highly recommend arriving to your venue in style with a classic car!
The gardens were absolutely beautiful, lush, and full of texture. Walking down a natural aisle between the gardens with the historic glass conservatory behind them, was absolutely breathtaking.
Shah wore a striking sage green tuxedo and a dark floral tie. Jas wore a strapless ball gown and veil; they were both radiant against all the greenery! Wanton Poppies designed a gorgeous all-white bouquet that was a perfect soft compliment to the structure of her dress. Incorporating a fun decor element in the gardens, their welcome sign had an extra large white bow atop the sign — they made the entire thing themselves! And in case you’re wondering, yes, extra large bows are always a good idea. 😉
With a modern minimalist wedding dress, a groom in an olive-y sage green tux and each sister in a gold/olive toned full-length silk dress, Jas and Shah’s style was modern and chic but still approachable and relaxed. Similarly, their reception dinner setup was intimate, relaxed and stylish. They set the tables with a sage green floral patterned plate, gold flatware, a menu with a black wax seal, black napkins, light green goblets and a green linen at the cake table, to bring everything all together.
Jas and Shah, your wedding at Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore was so memorable and beautiful, just like your love story! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be a small part of it, I wish you and your families nothing but the best — I hope you continue to carry the joy from this day with you for decades to come!
