I met Erica and Josh in person for the first time at the start of their Annapolis engagement session and had the best time exploring the most picturesque and quaint Annapolis backdrops with them! We started in front of a wisteria mural, walked along cute cobblestone streets, found our way to the State House and ended at Ogle Hall. I could have spent all day here with these two!!!
Annapolis has so many incredible nooks and crannies as you wander around!
Unique to downtown Annapolis, some of my favorite finds for engagement photo backdrops:
-
Pinkney Street’s colorful historic painted brick homes and murals
-
Maryland Avenue’s adorable storefronts and shops
-
Ego Alley’s waterfront
-
cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks everywhere
-
classic architecture, texture and geometry of State Circle
-
lush tree-lined streets and open spaces near Ogle Hall
Living in NYC but planning a Maryland wedding meant taking full advantage of our time together, so we ended at Ogle Hall, the beautiful historic mansion where they’re getting married in a few short weeks!
I can’t wait to see the side lawn transformed into their outdoor ceremony site and the intimate courtyard with a clear-top tent for all of their guests to enjoy views of the trees, sky and stars.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you both soon!! Ogle Hall is a dream wedding venue for us as Maryland wedding photographers since it combines the perfect blend of historic elegance, quaint charm and outdoor garden spaces for candid moments and memories with your loved ones.
