On the first Saturday in June (hot yet cicada-free… I will take it!), surrounded by their closest friends and family among the rolling hills of Stone Ridge Hollow and not a single cloud in the sky, Sara and Greg officially became husband and wife!!
These two are so perfect in the way they love and respect each other, I couldn’t stop smiling behind the camera! Their day was just as perfect as they are!! If you can’t get enough of their love, click HERE to read more…
5 elements that made Sara + Greg’s rustic garden wedding party at Stone Ridge Hollow memorable, fun and relaxed:
-
The texture on Sara’s A-line, lightweight, silk deep v-neck dress combined with the elegant floral design of her white and green bouquet with hints of blue thistle, created a romantic and relaxed tone to the day – her dress had pockets (YES!) and her veil was super simple which allowed the shape and detail on her dress to stand out. The bridesmaids’ full-length dusty blue dresses were formal yet fun and the perfect look for a hot June day!
-
The ceremony was officiated by Greg’s dad and included Greg’s nephew as the cutest little ringbearer.
-
Sara and Greg took the time to see each other before the ceremony for a first look at the pond while also saying private vows to each other under a tree… all of these made for gorgeous photo ops while also allowing them to relax and have a few moments to breathe before the formal events got underway with all of their guests.
-
Cream Cruiser ice cream sammies + sorbet push pops for dessert, served from the cutest pink bike! Bonus photo ops?! YES… scroll down to see!
-
Getting their hair and makeup done off-site and arriving at the venue only to get dressed allowed Sara and the bridesmaids to be focused, clutter-free and right on time for the getting ready photos which meant the rest of the day was also efficient, on-time and super relaxed!
The reception had an incredibly lush, garden-inspired head table for the entire wedding party; the tablescape included light blue glassware and napkins, wildflower seed packet favors for each guest, copper geometric vases and light pink peonies, lilies, hydrangeas, blue thistle and garden roses.
It was such a beautiful and elegant rustic garden party vibe with the draping and bistro lights crossing over the dance floor!
We got incredibly lucky with the sunset during golden hour! We almost missed it – luckily Stone Ridge Hollow’s golf cart driver was more than happy to chauffeur us up to the top of the property where the glow was simply priceless!
Congratulations again, Mr + Mrs. Hirsch!! It was an absolute joy to celebrate alongside you at Stone Ridge Hollow!

Naomi
