Their ceremony was held in the Pimlico Room, cocktail hour at the Sky Bar patio and a ‘strolling reception’ with dinner stations located throughout the entire upper level of this modern tavern. Before the main festivities got underway, they got ready at the Marriott Waterfront and took advantage of the GORGEOUS summer day with a slight breeze and perfect blue skies…
2. Ryan, their officiant, was also Dustin’s roommate in college and initially introduced them at the bar mentioned above
3. Mt Washington Tavern’s architecture and design is full of clean lines, bright walls inside and a deep gray exterior that made for the most moody romantic shots in the evening!
4. After a crazy long week of last minute coordination, travel, weather and wedding week stress for both of them, yesterday’s weather was better than any of us would have ever imagined or could have planned for in late August… we had a rain plan for portraits but desperately wanted them to happen outside (or maybe it was just me who was desperate about that) and not only did we take a ton on the water and outside for their first look and golden hour, but we were ahead of schedule every step of the way and that never happens, especially with a 14 person wedding party!
